| On average it takes each trout about 15 to 18 attempts
to successfully climb the falls. Some make it on less, others never make it at all. It
takes a surprisingly precise leap combined with perfect timing for the fish to make it
past the falls. Watching trout repeatedly leap at the roaring waterfall gives one a deep
respect and admiration for these determined creatures! next photo set > > > |
