comfortable room and a free morning cup of coffee, we'll help you with directions to
attractions, businesses, and activities. Our staff members have all lived in the area for
many years.

Rooms
Our two story, exterior entrance door design motel has 37 clean, comfortable rooms.
Five rooms have king beds, and 32 rooms have 2 full-sized beds. You have the choice of
smoking and non-smoking rooms. Coffee makers, color cable televisions with remotes, hair
dryers, ironing boards, direct dial phones, bathtub and shower combinations, wall to wall
carpeting, and daily maid service come standard with all our rooms. Microwaves and
refrigerators will be quickly set up in your room upon request. Each room has independent
heating and cooling. Two of our rooms are handicap accessible and have 2 full beds with
refrigerator, microwave, and handicap bathrooms.
Parking
Automobile parking is right in front of your room on a well drained cement surface.
Truck and trailer parking is on a gravel lot just off the cement parking lot. The driveway
circles the motel so 18 wheelers and boat trailers can conveniently pull in and out
without reverse maneuvering.The entrance and driveway are large enough for 18 wheelers,
and our large gravel parking lot easily accommodates both tractor and trailer.

Extras
We serve free fresh coffee every morning in the motel office. There are two ice
machines, one on each floor of our two story motel. Soda machines are located downstairs
near the office. We have electrical outlets all around the ground floor rooms for
fishermen who wish to charge boat batteries. The Brass Door Motel has a flat cement
parking lot with a gravel addition.
Fuel & Road Meal Services
Less than a quarter mile from the Brass Door
Motel you'll find two gas stations, a Citgo and an Exxon. Both stations also sell diesel
in truck lanes. There are also convenience stores offering self-serve sit-down dining. One
has a Subway Sandwich Shop, the other a Chester's Fried Chicken. The Exxon station has a
car wash and an ATM.
Shopping, Banks, & ATM's
Within walking distance (both sides of the road
have sidewalks) of the Brass Door Motel are two banks and three ATMs. Within two miles or
less away on the same road as the Brass Door, you'll find a pharmacy, 2 liquor stores, and
a tobacco shop. Women shoppers enjoy the Golden Dragon Gifts from around the world, is
about 3 miles away, and Earl's Antique's which is 4-1/2 miles away on the outskirts of
Mountain Home. In Mountain Home are several more shops, restaurants, and services.

Dining
The Brass Door Restaurant, which is next door to the Brass Door Motel,
offers casual dining and a friendly staff. Come in and enjoy breakfast from 6:00 am
to 11:00 am seven days a week.We serve prime rib on Friday and Saturday nights.Other
dining options within a quarter mile are a hamburger diner, a Mexican diner, a BBQ diner,
and several fast food franchise restaurants including McDonald's, Sonic Drive Inn, Long
John Silver's, and A&W Root Beer. A local pizza parlor will deliver to your room. A
grocery store is two miles down the road. About 15 minutes away in Mountain Home you'll
find many other restaurants, Mexican, Oriental, American, a sports bar and restaurant, and
franchise operations including Chili's, Arby's, Burger King, and others.
White River Trout Fishing Access -
One Night Stays Welcome!
If you are looking for the right place to stay for a trout fishing trip on the
White River, come stay with us.
Cotter Public Access is 4-1/2 miles, Rim Shoals Catch and
Release Public Access area is 5 miles, and Wildcat Shoals Public Access is 7 miles. All of
these public access points have hard surfaced boat launch ramps if you are bringing your
own boat. You can also rent a boat at a local trout dock. We have a special freezer for
storing your day's catch until you head home. You can buy a fishing license at a fly
fishing store that is on your way to the river.
Lake Recreation
Both Bull Shoals Lake and Norfork Lake are 25 minutes away. You can rent fishing
boats, pontoon boats, and ski boats at several marinas on both lakes. Hire fishing guides
for either a half-day or full-day on the lake. If you are bringing your own bass boat we
have outdoor ground fault 110 a/c outlets for charging your batteries, and
there's plenty of room in our flat parking lot to park your rig each night. Freezer
storage for fishermen's catch. (ice cream freezer).
